FY 2021-2022 Budget Adoption

In accordance with Texas Local Government Code § 102.006, a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Poetry Town Council on Tuesday, July 20th,  at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located Faith Temple Baptist Church, 11214 FM 1565, Poetry, Texas 75160, to hear public comment and to consider adopting a budget for the Town.

 

It is requested that you make your views known, either in person, by writing, or by a duly authorized representative at the public hearing.  A copy of the proposed budget is available for review at poetrytexas.org and Town Hall located at 20425 FM 986 Poetry, TX 75160.  For additional information please contact mayor.tara@poetrytexas.org

REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

PRIMARY DEPOSITORY BANK SERVICES

The Town of Poetry, Texas is soliciting sealed applications from eligible and qualified financial institutions with a physical location in the City’s municipal boundaries and/or the Zip Codes of 75160, 75161  to provide primary depository bank services and to participate in the Town’s certificate of deposit purchase program.  Sealed applications will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10th,  2021, at the Town of Poetry, Attention: Tara Senkevech, Mayor, c/o 19012 FM 986  Poetry, Texas 75160 with applications to be opened at 2:00 p.m. on this date at this location.

 

Questions regarding the RFP should be directed in writing via email to Tara Senkevech, Mayor, at mayor.tara@poetrytexas.org. The award of the Depository Bank Services contract is scheduled for consideration by the Town Council of Poetry at its regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17th,  2021, at Faith Temple Baptist Church, 11214 FM 1565, Poetry, Texas 75160.
